Total War: Warhammer 3’s Immortal Empires campaign is a massive undertaking for developer Creative Assembly. Easily one of the game’s most highly anticipated post-launch updates, keeping track of its factions starting positions is a pretty good idea if you want to plan your conquests ahead of time.
Not only will Warhammer 3’s Immortal Empires campaign throw all of the trilogy’s factions on one huge map, but it will also remove all the bells and whistles of the Vortex and the Realm of Chaos.
Total War: Warhammer 3 Starting Positions
Thus, your chosen faction’s starting position will determine where in the world your home base will be, which factions will fall first to your sword and spells, as well as the environments and geography you’ll have to deal with.
As we got closer to Immortal Empires’ launch, developer Creative Assembly began sharing more details about the mode, including where its playable factions will start.
Some of them, like the Empire, won’t move too far away from their homes in previous entries in the series. Others, like the third game’s Chaos races, will trek across the world, facing off against new enemies right from the very start.
