Frontier Developments announced this morning that it has signed a new license deal with Universal Products & Experiences for a third Jurassic World game.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 is scheduled to be released in FY26, anywhere between 1 June 2025 and 31 May 2026. Although platforms weren’t confirmed, it’s expected to be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Frontier Developments has three creative management simulation games in development, with one planned for each year
Building on the success of Jurassic World Evolution, released in June 2018, and its sequel Jurassic World Evolution 2, which debuted in November 2021, Frontier Developments has set a plan to release a new creative management simulation game annually.
The next unannounced game is scheduled for 2025, though details remain under wraps, but we should hear more about it later this year. This schedule suggests the potential release of “Jurassic World Evolution 3” in 2026, followed by another unannounced title in 2027.
Frontier Developments also has the Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo IPs, which may tie some of their unannounced projects to these franchises.
“We are delighted to reveal that we are developing a third Jurassic World game to extend our collaborative relationship with Universal Products & Experiences for our best-selling game franchise.” said Jonny Watts, Chief Executive Officer at Frontier Developments.
“Our Jurassic World Evolution game franchise has showcased great creative and technical expertise in CMS games and the strength of our select, develop, launch, and nurture strategy in the genre.” he concluded.
The next Jurassic World film will be released on the 2nd July, 2025.
