Lethal Company has surged in popularity on Steam, amassing an impressive 132,928 players becoming a massive viral hit, and its player base is showing no signs of slowing down. However, the question on many players’ minds who don’t own a PC is whether this co-op horror multiplayer hit will expand its reach to consoles such as PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, or potentially the Nintendo Switch.
Zeekerss, a solo developer, has been crafting games since the age of 11, starting with Roblox creations before progressing to projects on itch.io. With Lethal Company, Zeekerss has achieved an unprecedented level of success, as the game’s viral ascent demands extensive content and updates from players.
This is Zeekerss’ first foray into such high demand, and it’s likely that the focus is currently on enhancing the game further before considering expansions to console platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, or the Nintendo Switch.
Is Lethal Company ever going to be released on Console platforms?
Lethal Company made its debut on October 23rd, and to date, Zeekerss has not made any official statements regarding potential adaptations for console systems such as the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, or the Nintendo Switch. While it seems improbable that the game will make its way to these platforms anytime soon, we should mention that Lethal Company has minimal system requirements. This means it’s accessible to play on older laptops or desktops you might have lying around your house gathering dust.
While I was asleep Lethal Company passed 100,000 concurrent players. Unbelievable, thank you for playing. Releasing updates for this game will be very fun. pic.twitter.com/VYQgfve4hr

Lethal Company is currently available in early access on Steam, and we highly recommend joining forces with friends for a laugh-out-loud scrap-mining horror multiplayer experience. We aim to update this article with any news regarding the availability on console platforms. It is our hope that by the time Lethal Company transitions out of early access and into a full launch, there might be developments about its production for consoles.
