Bad Ridge Games and V Publishing have released a demo on Steam for its upcoming medieval fantasy RPG life-simulation adventure, Mirthwood.
Mirthwood isn’t just about its striking visuals and atmosphere. It features a storyteller mechanic influenced by games such as Fable and Rimworld, where in-game events are generated by selected storytellers, affecting the game’s difficulty.
For example, one event generated by the storytellers might result in a townsperson being infected with lycanthropy. You must decide whether to confront and end the werewolf or walk away. If you choose to walk away, you may return later to find the town eerily empty.
