Monster Hunter Wilds is releasing for the PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 in Q1 2025. Will it support crossplay, allowing players on any platform to enjoy its Action RPG co-op multiplayer modes together?
Capcom hasn’t confirmed crossplay support for Monster Hunter Wilds. Currently, details about its multiplayer modes are unknown, but it’s expected to have several upgrades over those in Rise and World.
Is Monster Hunter Wilds going to support crossplay between PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
Both Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter Rise featured co-op multiplayer modes, but neither game received crossplay support, even after release. Capcom may change this for the release of Monster Hunter Wilds, but until anything official is announced, we won’t know for sure.
Street Fighter 6 has full crossplay support. Exoprimal, Capcom’s multiplayer third-person shooter game, also had crossplay, but it was limited to matchmaking; players couldn’t team up with friends privately.
For now, we’re leaning more toward the thought that Monster Hunter Wilds won’t have crossplay support when it releases next year, but if that changes and we get more official word, we will keep you posted.
You can find Monster Hunter Wilds on Steam.
