The Outlast Trials promises a different approach to the franchise’s own brand of horror, looking to appeal to both newcomers and veterans. Regardless of which camp you’re in, you’ll want to keep the title’s system requirements in mind, as they dictate whether or not your PC specs are good enough to run the game smoothly.
The Outlast Trials’ PC specs have now been revealed, with its May 2023 early access launch drawing near, and there’s plenty of good news for those of us whose hardware isn’t exactly new.
The Outlast Trials System Requirements
An Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 are enough to squeeze 60 FPS out of The Outlast Trials, as long as ray tracing stays turned off, and that’s while paired with CPUs that aren’t exactly cutting edge.
The 40 GB it asks of our storage devices is a noticeable chunk of space but isn’t as high a demand as some other modern games launch with.

Since we’re talking about a title that first launches in early access, it is worth keeping in mind that The Outlast Trials’ system requirements may change as development progresses.
