The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is without a doubt one of 2023’s biggest releases, boasting a host of new ways to interact with its expansive open world. If you’re having trouble getting used to them, you may be asking yourself whether or not cheats or console commands could make things a bit easier.
Lowering upgrade requirements or quickly getting maximum stamina and hearts could help you navigate certain hurdles. But, following in the footsteps of many modern video games, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom doesn’t feature any traditional cheats or console commands at launch.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Cheats and Console Commands
There are many reasons to play through Nintendo’s acclaimed sequel as intended but, if you’re looking to have a more relaxed experience or explore the world from a different perspective, a handful of mods give us the closest thing we have to Tears of the Kingdom cheats.
The first we’ll highlight reduces the Sage’s Will upgrade requirements to just one item from four, allowing you to complete the whole process sooner.
Another grants maximum stamina and hearts, unlocks the full map, and adds multiple items, while leaving the majority of quests untouched and ready to be played through.
A more unorthodox entry on our list of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom cheats is the immersive camera mod, which allows you to play through the game from a first-person perspective.
While it’s not exactly the equivalent of a god mode, it does let you do something you cannot in the vanilla game, which is normally played from a third-person perspective.
It’s unclear whether or not official support for Tears of the Kingdom cheats might be added at a later date.
