Rocket League is going strong still - and there's no reason for this not to be the case for the foreseeable future - but issues do pop in from time to time. Both in places where you'd expect to see them, and where you wouldn't!
Rocket League Version Mismatch is one such issue, and one that keeps getting in the way every once in a while. Chances are that, if it happened to you, the version mismatch error got fixed on its own given time, but if you'd like to know exactly how to alleviate the problem, read on.
Rocket League Version Mismatch
Rocket League Version Mismatch Fix requires very little technical knowledge and, in fact, requires little more than a few additional minutes of your time. What 'version mismatch' means is that your version of Rocket League is outdated and that it requires a client-side update before you can continue to play.
In theory, this should mean that Rocket League auto-updates as soon as you close the game and go back to Steam, but sometimes it doesn't quite work that way. To fix the problem, however, all you need to do is shut down Steam completely and re-launch it from desktop.
The good old 'turn it off and on again' seems to truly be a tried-and-true troubleshooting tactic, and is a good thing to keep in mind if you often dabble in software, to be sure. We hope this helps!
