Capcom has announced that the second patch for Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
Patch 1.2 lowers the infection frequency of Dragonsplague and introduces glowing eyes for infected players. You will find that adjustments have been made to the behavior and dialogue of pawns.

The issue where players could be jailed for fighting monsters in town has also been sorted.
This patch helps improve the performance of the frame rate. Crashes and freezes should be less frequent now too.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Patch 1.1 introduces several fixes focused on Pawns. Capcom has resolved a glitch where players were unable to high-five Pawns. Additionally, Pawns will now reliably start guiding after offering assistance. It has also addressed issues where Pawns would unexpectedly stop speaking outside of combat or speak another Pawn’s lines incorrectly.
Here’s the full list of changes:
- Reducing the infection frequency of Dragonsplague and adjusting signs to make symptoms, such as glowing eyes, more noticeable in Pawns.
- Adding the option to zoom in on the faces of the Arisen and Pawns in the status screen, shops, etc.
- Fixing issues and making adjustments related to the mini map, including ensuring treasure chests that have already been acquired are not displayed.
- Making adjustments to Pawns’ behavior and dialogue.
- Fixing issues where occasionally the player couldn't high five Pawns.
- Fixing issues where Pawns wouldn't start guiding after offering to guide.
- Making Pawns less likely to fall off cliffs.
- Reducing the frequency of some Pawn dialogue lines.
- Improving Pawn dialogue to better match circumstances.
- Fixing some issues where Pawns stop speaking outside of combat.
- Fixing some issues where the Main Pawn speaks support Pawn’s dialogue.
- Making Pawns more likely to aid the Arisen if commanded to help while being held by enemies.
- Reducing the frequency of Pawns offering to be hired by the player while in the field.
- Fixing issues where sometimes escort quests are considered failed when accessing Character Edit or other specific situations.
- Fixing issues where the player could be jailed when fighting monsters in town.
- Fixing some crashes and freezes in specific circumstances.
- Miscellaneous bug fixes.

The patch has now been released after it was first revealed with no release date. Capcom said that it would arrive soon on X, formerly Twitter. It has now released and is available for download on all platforms, it should automatically update.
